CODAA hosted its Fall Membership Meeting on Wednesday, August 19th with more than 50 members in attendance. Information was provided on member’s benefits as well as the roles and responsibilities of CODAA Officers. The annual budget was presented and was unanimously approved.
The special guest speaker was Acting Interim President, Dr. Joseph Collins. Dr. Collins spoke about the important role part-time faculty have at the College. He said it was important that all College employees not lose sight of the excellent work we do each day for students despite the controversies and negative press of the past year. He assured everyone that our accreditation would remain intact, although he expected the Higher Learning Commission may issue some directives for improvement. However, he stressed that the academic integrity of the College was not in question. Dr. Collins also fielded several questions from members.
